Donald Winn Ryan (retired SMSgt, U.S.Air Force), 91, passed away Wednesday, March 2, 2022 under the care of GHC Hospice with his loving wife and faithful canine companion Bizzy by his side. He was born November 28, 1930 in Everett, MA to the late Franklin and Harriet Mary King Ryan. Air Force, retiring as a Senior Master Sergeant. He travelled all over the world during his military career. Don was an avid golfer, which is what brought him and his wife to Savannah after retirement.

She is survived by her daughter Elizabeth Cadwell Dow. Debbie Russell Mobley, 70, passed away Monday, July 11, 2022 at Memorial Health. She was born February 6, 1952 in Macon, GA to the late William and Bobbie Massey Russell. Debbie graduated from the Medical College of Georgia as a Physician’s Assistant. She was the first Physician’s Assistant in Savannah, and was also the former Medical Director of the Georgia Infirmary.

CJ started and operated Stickle’s Courier Service from 1995 to 2013. William Stephen Bowen, Jr. of Savannah passed away on August 1, 2022 after a brief illness. He was born on February 14, 1938 in Blackshear, GA to William Stephen Bowen Sr.“Buddy” and Alafae Jones Bowen. Stephen graduated from Blackshear High School and was a member of the 1956 State Championship basketball team.
Richard Edward Evans III
Margaret Ogden Hardy of Savannah, Georgia, passed away on May 9, 2022, at the age of 74 after a long battle with cancer. Margaret was born on July 12, 1947, in Wilmington, Delaware to John Van Etten Hardy and Margaret Stubblefield Hardy. Margaret attended elementary schools in Delaware, Texas, West Virginia, and Japan, as her father traveled with his work for DuPont in the 1950’s and 1960’s. DuPont High School in 1967 and went on to graduate from Stetson University in Deland, Florida in 1971 with a BA degree in Music.

Dorothy is survived by her three daughters, Maura Nicholson deVisscher of Norwalk, CT, Tara Nicholson Olson of Rowayton, CT, and Ann Nicholson Brown ... Louis C. Law, of Savannah, GA passed away peacefully on April 16, 2022 after a short illness. He was stationed across the country and in Korea.

Mary was born September 12, 1989 in Savannah, GA. Mary was a 2008 graduate of St. Vincent’s Academy. She earned her bachelor's degree in Sociology in 2012 from Mercer University in Macon, GA. She was a member of Chi Omega Sorority. She was employed as a paralegal in the legal department of Gulfstream Aerospace. Her favorite team was the Pittsburg Penguins and she traveled with her best friends to several destinations to watch her Penguins play. On November 29, 2022, we lost our mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Denise Svetlik Portman.
In 1970, she married the love of her life, Roy Griffin Thomas, Sr. Together, they owned and operated Solomons Pharmacy in downtown Savannah and started a family. Anne enjoyed entertaining, gardening, and volunteering. Joseph B. Tuttle, affectionately known as "JB", died on June 30, 2022, at Summer Breeze Assisted Living under the care of GHC Hospice Savannah.

He was born December 31, 1932 in Cincinnati, Ohio to parents Richard Gale and Naomi Hoffman Evans. Dick grew up in the Pleasant Ridge neighborhood in Cincinnati and graduated from Walnut Hills High School in 1951. Dick attended Kenyon College in Gambier, OH where he joined the Air Force ROTC and Delta Tau Delta fraternity. He also played football and was an accomplished midfielder on the lacrosse team.
A lifelong resident of Savannah, Georgia, she will be mourned by her family and friends for her loving heart, warm smile, and excellent Bridge playing skills. She was born December 22, 1928 at the Dixie Crystals Savannah Sugar Refinery. She was predeceased by her husband, William Edward Dickey.
